The iconic « cow‑head » bus stops in Paris are gradually being equipped with new Lumiplan passenger information displays. A milestone has just been reached: our teams have installed the 100th ePaper display.
A project supporting the modernisation of passenger information
These new self‑powered ePaper real‑time passenger information (RTPI) displays are part of the passenger information modernisation policy led by the transport organising authority for the Île‑de‑France region, Île‑de‑France Mobilités.
Objectives:
- Harmonised passenger information throughout the Île‑de‑France region
- Improved legibility and readability of stop displays
- Display of waiting times for the first and second upcoming buses, occupancy levels for the approaching bus, and service updates in the event of disruptions
Momentum continues
Deployment is continuing in the field: our teams remain fully mobilised, with hundreds of ePaper passenger information displays still to be installed to equip all bus stops across Paris.
