Inspired by ski resort cable car, the Câble C1 offers an innovative alternative to traditional modes of transport.

The inauguration of Lumiplan’s new development and production center for passenger information solutions in Grenoble is the only French manufacturing site for onboard display units and destination signs for buses, coaches and tramways.

This inauguration marks the culmination of a long 15-year cycle that has seen the Lumiplan group realize its vision, which at the time of the Duhamel acquisition in 2009 was to reposition the Lumiplan Duhamel business as the benchmark for onboard passenger information solutions for public transport, by manufacturing in France.

Today, Lumiplan is number 1 in France and Europe for passenger information solutions, and the only French manufacturer.

More than 80% of the 50 largest public transport networks in France are equipped with Lumiplan’s passenger information solutions, and 50% of all information displays are Lumiplan displays.

The new site will increase production capacity by 40%.

After Casablanca, Agadir is preparing to launch its first Bus Rapid Transit line.

Our MARCUS Passenger Information Terminals will be installed in the 35 stations and 6 multimodal interchange hubs along the BRT line.

With 76 double-sided terminals providing real-time information to passengers, these PTI will enhance the experience of more than 60,000 daily passengers on the Amalway Agadir Trambus line.
